For over 30 years, Schick & Company has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to businesses and individuals nationwide. Our expertise ranges from tax management and accounting services to payroll, financial planning, and IRS representation.

Schick & Company serves a variety of small and mid-size businesses, with a specialty in the real-estate development and high-technology industries. We can work with your bookkeeping records - whether paper or computerized.  We can set up and maintain your books in QuickBooks, or train you to maintain them yourselves.  We also work with many individual tax clients and understand the importance of examining both business and personal goals in selecting tax and financial strategies.  The key to our success is giving our clients the focused personal attention that keeps them coming back year after year.

Stephen M. Schick, CPA steve@schickcpas.com

Steve is a Certified Public Accountant who received his BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland. Prior to opening his own accounting practice, Steve worked for public accounting firms in Washington, DC, and as the Controller for a real-state development corporation. Steve is a licensed CPA in Maryland and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Barbara A. Schick, MBA barbara@schickcpas.com

Barbara has a BA in English from Catholic University and an MBA in Marketing & Finance from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining Schick & Company, she worked as an executive in the computer software and services industry managing the acquisition and roll-out of new software products. Barbara also worked in the association and publishing industries.
